From “Program curriculum” on the CaRMS page
- This two-year UBC family medicine site, established in 2020, trains residents mostly in Kelowna, including at Kelowna General Hospital.
- The R2 year includes a 16-week rural rotation in BC/NWT, a 16-week regional rotation in the Central Okanagan, and 16 weeks of electives.
- Residents complete a first-year quality improvement project and a resident scholar project presented at a regional Scholar Day.
Based on what the program says about itself.
- You’re open to training at sites across a region, not at one hospital.
