Summary
- This is a one-year Calgary addiction medicine enhanced skills program for PGY-2 family medicine residents and re-entry family physicians, who train as PGY-3 residents.
- Rotations include three months at the Calgary Opioid Dependency Program, inpatient addiction consult work at Foothills Medical Centre and Peter Lougheed Centre, and inner-city medicine at the Alex and CUPS.
- Residents also complete a one-month rural rotation in Southern Alberta and a rotation on the Eden Valley reserve.
